Nukleuz was established by UK Media Records boss Peter Pritchard in 1996 in order to create a quality club label. The very first releases on the label were funky house but within a couple of years it had released its first UK hard house productions. This developed pace with the whole brand exploding at the end of the last millennium.
Nukleuz has been the home of some of the world’s greatest and most respected hard dance stars including BK, Andy Farley, Nick Sentience, Mauro Picotto, Mario Piu, Lisa Pin-Up, Stu Allan, Ed Real, Alphazone, Tom Harding, Phil Reynolds, Organ Donors, Breeze & Styles, Disco Brothers and more!
In recent times Nukleuz has been striving to build up new artists alongside some of the scene leaders. As such artists like Andy Whitby, Cally & Juice, P.H.A.T.T., Technikal, Dark By Design and Gammer as well as many more are finding homes for their high quality, high energy floor rocking records.
Nukleuz also began working with Frantic on a series of Frantic Euphoria albums with Ministry of Sound matching leading DJ Anne Savage alongside up and coming artists Andy Whitby & Cally & Juice to good success.
In 2005 Nukleuz noticed the huge growth, innovation, youth and excitement which was coming from within the hardcore scene and found more than they were bargaining for, large numbers of high quality records by a variety of young up and coming producers. And filled with enthusiasm set about getting involved and dropped the successful Hardcore Nation CDs with Warner Music alongside Stu Allan, DJ Seduction & Robbie Long.
